KuneKune Pigs

Kunekune pigs were originally bred by the Maori people of New Zealand where Kunekune means short and round. They are smaller in size than most commercial hog breeds. Boars can reach up to 500 pounds and sows about 400 pounds.  They are varied in hair color and hair texture with ears that are pricked or semi-lop. They are generally extremely docile and suitable for most first time pig growers

As a member of the American Kunkune Pig Registry we are committed to being good stewards of the Kunekune pig breed and maintain the integrity of the Kunekune breed.

OWL Mahia Love 1

Our sweet boy Mozzarella couldn't be a better boar. He is long and wide with straight legs and a very short snout. He is one of the sweetest guys to boot and loves to come sit next to us in the pasture to get scratches.
